Attack on the Grad installation by Russian troops. 4 shells around the house and the area where there were 12 large dogs. Cage nets were cut by shrapnel, and the walls of the cages were destroyed by the shock wave of near-exploded shells. In the house where the dogs were hidden, the windows flew out along with the frames and the entrance doors along with the box.
At the enclosures, barricades were built from improvised materials and the net was hung with blankets, so they tried to protect the dogs from projectile fragments. And they bombed us almost every day. The dogs were under occupation for 37 days, of which they were starving for 3 weeks, there was no supply of fodder and other food for the dogs...
The Russian occupiers were not allowed to leave the house and the yard - it was impossible to get food for the dogs.... They cooked soup for 12 giants from whole grains of wheat and corn. This soup was given once every 1-2 days. Water was also worth its weight in gold. It was possible to drink once every 2-3 days.
From the first days, the gas pipeline, the power line and the water supply were cut off in the village due to the bombing. There was a minimum of water in the wells... for 70 yards (only 10 were evacuated), there were 4 wells with a minimum water level... People did not have enough water, and no one wanted to hear about the 12 giants... The snow had to be melted to drank water..
The Russians came twice to SHOOT THE DOGS - miraculously they begged them not to kill them...
After the liberation, aviaries were assembled from whatever was found, the dogs survived... They are restoring the kennels and buying protective nets while there are no funds. There is no work around the devastation, there is no opportunity to restore the enclosures, or to feed and treat the dogs. |
